1. Study: Finals week is upon us, and you finally realize you need to make up for an entire semester of work in one week.  Like anything you do in life you need to prepare accordingly, so make sure you hit the books.

2. Try to Get Some Sleep: “Try” is the key word here. Finals week can be stressful, but make sure you set aside some time to relax – those power naps are essential during finals week.

3. Have Lots of Snacks: Finals week can be particularly exhausting, and often times you don’t have the time to eat full meals so make sure you’re snacking down on those Oreos, cookies, granola bars, or fruit if you’re trying to be healthy.

4. Get Your Caffeine Fix: You will definitely be studying a lot, which means you’ll be sleeping less than ever. So make sure you’re getting that caffeine fix you know you need at your favorite Starbucks location. (Also take advantage of their lounge since it’s a great place to study.)

5. Let Out a Good Cry: There’s no crying in baseball, but there’s plenty of crying during finals week.

6. Study Again: According to Time Magazine, switching between different material actually increases your ability to remember more!

7. Listen to Happy Music: Finals week can put even the happiest people in a bad mood, so listen to your favorite Spotify playlist to put you in a good mood.

8. Take a Deep Breath and Smile: You’re definitely going to get stressed out at least a few times during finals week. Lean back in your computer chair, take a few deep breaths and then smile, and remember that it’s going to be over soon.

9. Surround Yourself with Good Company: Being around the people you care about the most always makes things easier so take breaks when you can, talk to your friends, family, and classmates. They can be very helpful when you need some positivity in your life.

10. Study Even More: When you think you’ve studied enough, go back and keep going. You’ll thank yourself later for it.

11. Remember, You’re Almost Done: Only a few tests stand between you and summer break. Remember it’s not about how you start, it’s about how you finish!

12. Celebrate! You did it! Now go out with friends to celebrate another year in the books!
